What is it?
A tooth guard is like a crash helmet for teeth. It’s placed over the teeth to cover them, and then gives excellent protection against trauma which might otherwise break or punch out a tooth.
Why is it used?
A broken or missing tooth can be expensive and time consuming to have treated. This makes it important to protect your natural teeth.
What are the risks?
There are no risks associated with using a tooth guard.
