What is it?
Surgical orthodontics surgically change the position of teeth and/or the relationship between the upper and lower jaw.
Why is it used?
In extreme cases, surgical orthodontics can be necessary to ensure normal occlusion and appearance.
What is the risk?
Surgical orthodontics carry the risk of damaging the teeth and their nerves.
