Removable full denture

What is it?

A removable full denture replaces all of the teeth in the upper or lower jaw.

The prosthetic teeth are mounted on a plate made from acrylic and kept in place by suction.

Why is it used?

A removable full denture are used when every tooth in a jaw has been lost.

What are the risks?

The treatment will always have a much looser fit than natural teeth or implants and so may cause discomfort.
